[Dark Saga Cover song]

not bad

i gave a 4 on originality 'cause it's a cover but also 'cause the lead was different at the end of it, the vocal melody was different throughout the entire song and the timing was a bit different in spots.

diversity gets a 10 'cause the song was totally different in those spots i mentioned.

clarity gets a 9 'cause the drums an guitar seemed to battle whenever the guitar played the 3-3-2-2-0. speedmetalmessiah knows the part i'm talkin' about.

and effort gets a 10 'cause you guys did a great job.

overall 9. and definitly a fuckin' fiven!!!

woulda been better if the guitar and bass parts were played with a real guitar and bass but i was still able to hear the awesomeness of this. great tune. next time see if you can either play the guitar and bass parts or have somebody else do it for ya.

i love how the drums panned back and forth durin' the rolls and the fact that it was the original riff but played with arpeggios instead of just the open string. totally awesome. check out my doom cover called the shores of hell. it's a different song than this one from the game. bad-ass version man. keep it up!!!

this song is awesome!!! the pitch shiftin' is perfect and in no way overdone. the beat is amazing. i can see people ravin' out to this all over the world in no time. 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! I was worried a bit that the pitch shifting on that one synth was too much of a Crystal Method ripoff in a sense if you've ever heard their song "Busy Child" (on their Vegas album)

The slow down was considered a more "hip hoppy" change up of the song. Which of course, fits in perfectly. And I wanna say thank you guys so much for voting so nicely on my song. And it keeps on going up. :) I have never been so happier.

kick-ass riffs man

those were some nasty riffs man. i think that the if you were able to tweak the eq more when you wrote this it woulda sounded even better 'cause it sounded a bit muddy but all in all it was pretty fuckin' bad-ass.

i could tell where a couple of the cuts were in the guitar track and it sounded a bit lacking on the low end of the eq but i still gave it a 5 'cause that was bad-ass man. great song and great guitar playin'. i'd love to hear more of your recorded stuff.

Actually I didnt cut anything off of the guitar tracks, I played throughout the whole song on both tracks by following the bass and drum tracks, took me a couple of tries to get them both to the point where I was satisfied with it but yea... And as for recording i plugged my amp to the mic jack in the back of my computer, I don't have anytihng else except that and I don't have a noise gate so it sounds like shit.

not too bad

the guitar was playin' the wrong note in one spot. but other than that it was pretty good. a little distorted from so much bass but all in all quite a good cover.

Hehehehe so you noticed huh.After a while of playing the same thing when we were tracking the second guitar I wasn't really paying attention and went two frets higher than I should have.So instead of re-recording it we said "Fuck it.It makes it more diverse" hahahaha.

Yeah there was too much bass in it I was waiting for somebody to bring that up.If I can get Zeth to make the synth for this I'll try and get the vocal track from Ken and mix the song over again just with less bass.

I can't hear anything wrong with my quality, dood! Maybe it's something to do with your sound card or headphones. If anything, this is the best quality sound I've made yet. If you think this is crap quality listen to the real thing (full song for free) here's the link:

Anyway thanks a lot for not giving this a zero because people who do that are pathetic pricks with nothing else to do.
